šŸš€ BridgeVMS Release Update

A new release is here!  This one is all about refining existing functionality, improving visibility, and smoothing out a few everyday workflows based on your feedback.  There are also a handful of behind-the-scenes improvements keeping everything running that little bit better.  Let’s take a look šŸ‘‡

šŸ’¬ What’s new?

  • A clearer candidate profile view on submissions: We’ve improved the candidate profile view shown when reviewing a submission to a job or order.

For managed service processes, MSP users can now see:
    • The candidate’s details
    • The submitting agency’s contact details, where applicable
    • The candidate’s relevant work profile information and matching criteria for the job or order
Client users will continue to see the candidate’s information and relevant work profile details, without the agency contact information.

For self-managed processes, client users will also be able to see the submitting agency’s contact details.
The result is a cleaner, more relevant view of the information each user needs when reviewing a submission.
  • New custom report builder fields: We’ve added two new fields to the Custom Report Builder:
    • Location Title - include the name of the work location in your reports
    • MSP Fee Paid By - identify who is responsible for paying the MSP fee (US customers only)
A couple of useful additions for making your reports that little bit more informative.
  • Clearer fees in placement exports: Fees shown in placement export reports will now clearly indicate whether they are:
    • A fixed amount
    • A percentage
Previously, only the numerical value was shown.  This update should make exported fee information much easier to interpret at a glance.
  • Job/Order distribution dates: Alongside the existing job created date, you can now display the date a job or order was distributed. Both dates are optional.  The job created date will continue to appear by default, but the job distribution date can also be enabled within the job order details tab.  To have this activated, please contact the BridgeVMS Support who will gladly activate this for you.
  • End of placement survey improvements: We’ve made several improvements to End of Placement Surveys following your feedback.

    You’ll now see:
    • Candidate and agency names in the Pending Candidate Feedback dashboard view for Employer and MSP users
    • New survey statuses: Pending, Completed and Not Completed
    • A new Surveys tab within the Placements area
The Surveys tab brings together all completed, pending and not completed surveys available within the user’s visibility.

A Not Completed status means the Hiring Manager chose not to complete the survey, making it easier to distinguish these from surveys that are still awaiting a response.
  • New notification preferences: We’ve added several of our newer system notifications to the notification preferences section of your profile.  This gives you more control over which notifications you receive and which ones you’d rather leave quietly in the background.  Head to Your Profile > Notifications to review your preferences.
  • New notification placeholder: A new Job Cancellation Reason placeholder is now available for email notification templates.  You can add it to relevant notifications from the Notification Templates section within Site Settings, helping recipients understand why a job or order was cancelled without needing to investigate further.
  • Update Pricework pay components during placement rate changes: MSP users can now update pay components values for Priceworks when changing rates on a placement.  A small gap closed and one fewer workaround needed.
  • Integrate duplicate placement prevention setting into the bank workflow: Bank workflows are now integrated with the configurable duplicate placement prevention settings.  When the prevention rules are enabled, Bank and Internal Pool candidates can be prevented from booking overlapping shifts or assignments in line with your chosen configuration.  This replaces the previous hard-coded behaviour and gives you greater control over how duplicate bookings are managed.
  • IR35 determination documents with Direct Engagement: IR35 determination documents are now visible on jobs and orders where Direct Engagement is enabled.  Previously, these documents were hidden when Direct Engagement was active.  They will now remain accessible, giving users the information they need regardless of the engagement route.

šŸž Fixes & Optimisations:

Our clean-up crew has been busy behind the scenes 🧹. Here’s a snapshot of what's been sorted:

  • Bank job statuses - resolved an issue causing some jobs to unexpectedly return to "Not Authorised" status.
  • Data loader justifications - corrected an issue where the justifications value appeared in the wrong cell.
  • Rate times matrices - resolved saving issues where a large number of matrices had been configured.
  • Time zone settings - fixed an issue that could cause the selected time zone to change unexpectedly.
  • Additional bug fixes - a collection of smaller improvements helping everything run more smoothly.

That’s a wrap for this release!  A thoughtful collection of updates designed to make everyday tasks clearer, reporting more useful and key workflows easier to manage.
