Bridge VMS Product Updates - March 23, 2026

🚀 BridgeVMS Release Notes

A new release has landed.  This one leans more toward a tidy-up and bug fixes, but there are also a few nice additions we think you'll get good use out of.  Let’s take a look 👇

💬 What’s new?

• End of placement surveys: We've introduced a new survey type: "End of placement surveys".  Hiring Managers can now provide structured feedback on a candidate’s performance at the end of assignments - all captured directly in BridgeVMS.
  
  
  Why it's useful:
• More informed hiring decisions
• Helps track candidate performance over time
• Enhances supplier and workforce quality

• Hierarchy management improvements: MSP users can now mark hierarchy levels as inactive within an Employer profile, making it easier to make changes to organisational structure when required. 

Key Highlights:

• • New jobs can't be created under inactive hierarchies
  • Existing placements continue as normal (unless shortened)
  • Timesheet approvals can still be made if the (hidden) hierarchy is still assigned to the user

• History log for pay components: We've now added a history log under pay components so you can clearly see who has made changes and when.
• Candidate name filter on bank payroll file search: To make locating bank payroll files a little bit easier, we've added a candidate name filter option within the "processed" bank payroll file section.  Small change, big time-saver.
• Statistic page improvements: We've given the statistics dashboard a bit of a refresh, including:
• Spend widgets- We now have spend for the last 12 months and spend year to date
• Contracts - this is now active placements as of today
• Top job titles - Now includes Employer name to help differentiate performance
• New custom report field: We've added a new custom report field to the custom report builder:
• Placement cancellation reason - associated to the placement

• Multiple Power BI dashboards per user: If you're using the Power BI integration, Employer users can now have multiple dashboards assigned.  Note, only one role can be added per dashboard.  Head over to an Employer user profile to configure this under the reporting section on their profile.

🐞 Fixes & Optimisations:

Our clean-up crew's been busy behind the scenes 🧹. Here’s a snapshot:

• Timesheet re-generation - Timesheets now auto re-generate when a new effective date rate is added pulling through the correct rates faster.
• Bulk candidate confirmation - Was giving users an error, this is now resolved.
• Job approval time conditions - Now correctly skips approval if the time condition from the category settings is met.
• Restricted candidates - Bug fixed that prevented users from adding candidates to the restricted candidate list.
• PO number changes - some users were not being prompted to update placements with the new PO they have added to a job.  This is now resolved.
  
• Auto distribution with bank - Fixed a bug that was distributing shifts to all suppliers regardless of tiering delays.
  
• Partner Supplier functionality and compliance validation - Resolved some niggly bugs causing candidate statuses to show incorrectly.
  
• Parent hierarchy changes - When updating parent hierarchy names in the main site settings; the changes weren't saving.  This is now fixed.
  
• Error with WBS code on timesheet data loader - This was due to an issue with overnight shifts - fixed!
  
• Reasons/Justifications data loader - duplicate name handling corrected.
