🚀 BridgeVMS Release Update - Big Improvements, Smarter Workflows

A new release has landed, and this one is big!  Lots of new functionality, workflow refinements, and a few behind-the-scenes upgrades designed to make managing your workforce that little bit smoother.  Let’s get into it 👇

💬 What’s new?

• Outsource settings just got a major upgrade: We’ve completely reworked the job outsource rules experience.  Outsource settings are no longer tied to Category Settings and now live within the Workflow Rules section, giving you far more flexibility and control.  You can now add multiple outsource rules with conditions such as category, job template, hierarchy, work address, or even region.
  
  
  Why it matters:
  More intelligent, targeted outsourcing rules - without the one-size-fits-all setup.

• Partner Agency settings - now much smarter: In line with the outsource upgrades, Partner Agency settings have also had a refresh.  Located in the workflow rules section, you can select which agencies have which "accept job options" and then optionally apply rule conditions based on category, job template, work address, region or hierarchy.
  
  More control.  Less admin.  Everyone wins!

• Days of the week on the job creation: The job creation wizard just got more flexible.  For roles that don't follow fixed weekly working patterns, you can now specify the number of working days required directly on the job.

• Invoice number added to timesheets view: A small, but useful quality-of-life improvement.  When a timesheet has been invoiced ,you'll now see a handy invoice number hyperlink directly within the timesheet view.  Fewer clicks, easier tracking.
  

• More detailed rate visibility controls: We've expanded the rate visibility module with additional options around agency charges.  You can now separately show or hide Platform Access Fee; Platform Access Fee Amount, and the Net Agency Charge Rate.  Head on over to the rate visibility module to check this out.
• Improved invoice payment tracking: Managing invoice payments is now much clearer.  We've improved how payments are applied and tracked, making it easier to see what's been paid, track when payments were received and stay on top of outstanding balances.

• IR35 status determination upgrades: IR35 configuration is now more flexible for roles that don't always follow the standard setup.  You can now modify the IR35 status at placement level and apply IR35 status rules at job template level.  Perfect for handling those exception cases more cleanly.

• Global rate change improvements: We’ve continued refining global rate changes with validations for duplicate effective date entries and clearer partial error handling within processed summaries.  Making bulk updates easier to troubleshoot and manage.

🐞 Fixes & Optimisations:

Our clean-up crew's been busy behind the scenes 🧹. Here’s a snapshot:

• Report scheduling - active recipients now continue receiving schedules even if the original creator has been archived.
• Saved views on main entity pages - these are now stored server-side, so clearing browser cache won’t wipe them anymore.
• Bulk candidate confirmation - issue preventing multiple candidate confirmations on a job has been resolved
• Additional bug fixes - a general tidy-up of smaller bugs and platform improvements to keep things running smoothly.
