Bridge VMS Product Updates - February 3, 2026

🚀 BridgeVMS Release Notes

Release number two of 2026 is here, and it's a good one.  This update is all about clarity, control, and small improvements that add up.  The kinds that quietly make your day easier as the year gathers pace.  Let’s take a look 👇

💬 What’s new?

  • Clearer candidate workflow language: You’ll notice a small wording update in the candidate workflow: “Booked” has been changed to “Offered”. It’s a clearer reflection of that stage in the process and should make things easier to interpret at a glance.
  • More control over offer acceptance:  If you're using the candidate workflow rules module, you will now have the option to choose whether agency users can accept offers prior to the candidate being confirmed.  For more information on how to configure this, check out the How to set up "Accept Offer" in the candidate workflow rules guide.
  • Custom confirmation messages: If you're using the candidate workflow rules module, you can add custom confirmation messages to:
    • The Make Offer stage
    • The Accept Offer stage
  • A small change, but a great way to tailor messaging and reduce back-and-forth.  For more information on how to configure these, check out our How to set up and use candidate workflow confirmation messages guide.
  • Security updates:  Some routine, but important, security improvements have been made around the login form.  Nothing flashy, just solid housekeeping behind the scenes.
  • Bank/Internal Pool override agency function:  A new setting now allows MSP users to let bank or internal pool workers override agency workers within a defined window before a shift starts.  This gives you more flexibility to prioritise internal resources when it matters most.  For more information on how to set this up, check out our How to set up bank/internal pool override agency worker rule guide.
  • Bank/Internal Pool cascade timing update: We've refined the "Hours before outsourced to Agencies" option, so it's now based on X hours before the shift or assignment starts, rather than when it was created.  Much more intuitive and much easier to control timing.
  • Tax module precision upgrade: Tax values can now be entered to 4 decimal places, allowing for even more accurate tax calculations across the platform.
  • Clearer job template terminology:  We've listened to feedback and re-named and simplified a couple of job template options:

    • "Candidate can amend timesheet hours" is now called "Split Hours by Pay Type"
    • "Rate Differentials" is now called "Split Time Intervals by Pay Type"
  • These are now drop-down selections (only one or none can apply), making intent much clearer.
  • Edit WBS codes on timesheet format (US): US instances now support editing WBS code intervals directly within the timesheet format.  This will enable nominated users to modify WBS code intervals on timesheets.
  • User exemptions for SSO:  You can now exempt specific users from SSO directly on their profile.  Once enabled, they'll be able to log in using a standard username and password instance.  Useful for user profiles that are used for integrations.  To make a user exempt from SSO, simply navigate to their user profile > account > exempt from SSO.
  • Faster employer setup: We've introduced a select all function when editing categories on linked agencies so you can do multiple updates in one go.  We've also added a multi-select option when linking agencies to employers, so you can do more than one agency in one go.  Less clicking, more doing!
  • Job page upgrades: The job grid view now includes new columns like:
    • Standard pay/bill rate
    • Work address title
    • City
    • State/Region
    • Start and End time
  • Plus, you can drag and drop columns to arrange the view exactly how you like it.

🐞 Fixes & Optimisations:

New year energy; fresh clean-up.  Here’s a snapshot of what we've sorted:

  • Expenses and Direct Engagement workers – Billable (but not payable) expenses now correctly flow through to client invoices.
  • Pricework only jobs – Qualifications and compliance requirements are editable again where permitted.
  • Placement approval notifications – No more premature alerts.
  • Placement estimation calculations - Placement date change calculations are now accurate.
  • Restricted worker module - Duplicate entries caused by profile restrictions are resolved.
  • Closed placements & expenses - Expenses can no longer be submitted outside placement dates.
  • Other small fixes: The quiet kind that keep everything running smoothly.

That’s it for this release!  A solid set of updates to keep 2026 moving in the right direction.
