Bridge VMS Product Updates - November 5, 2025

🚀 BridgeVMS Release Notes

It’s that time again, a fresh BridgeVMS release just landed, and it’s packed with updates to make your day-to-day a little smoother.  Here’s what’s new 👇

💬 What’s new?

• PO Functionality Improvements:  We’ve tidied up how PO numbers flow through jobs, placements, and timesheets.  The system now looks directly at the placement PO for invoicing and keeps job and placement PO numbers perfectly in sync, fewer mix-ups, smoother invoicing.
• Timesheet Reminders: Never miss a beat (or a timesheet).  You can now send reminder notifications to agency users for timesheets in Open and Disputed status, alongside existing reminders to timesheet approvers for Pending timesheets.  More visibility, less chasing.
• Global Rate Changes Improvements: Rate change fans, rejoice 🎉.  We’ve added pay components to the Global Rate Change module and fine-tuned how overrides process.  It’s now faster, smarter, and even better at handling complex changes.
• Platform Access Fee Modification: We’ve tweaked the Platform Access Fee calculation for Direct Engagement workers.  When the calculation type is set to Total Supplier Charge, it’ll now include candidate pay.
• Restricted Worker List Improvements: Restrictions just got more connected.  Adding a restriction to a candidate profile will now automatically sync to the main Restricted Worker List, keeping everything aligned without the extra admin.
• Modifying Timesheet Approvers on Jobs: Add or remove a timesheet approver from a job?  The change now flows automatically to open and pending timesheets instead of just newly generated timesheets.  For disputed ones, the approver list will update automatically once resubmitted.
• WBS Codes Improvements: You can now add WBS code intervals on daily timesheets.  More control, more precision.

🐞 Fixes & Optimisations:

A few gremlins caught and cleared out:

• Job/Order cancellation issue – If the placement was cancelled before the job, you were unable to cancel the job due to a placement cancellation reason being required.  We’ve fixed this anomaly.
• Rate display on Direct Engagement (DE) Pricework timesheets for candidates – We fixed a bug associated with displaying the rates for candidates on DE pricework timesheets.  
• Missing dates from timesheets– Those vanishing dates?  Found and fixed.
• Extra polish: A handful of smaller bugs squashed to keep things running smoothly.
• Behind the scenes – Background tasks got a boost to keep BridgeVMS humming along like clockwork.
