☀️ BridgeVMS Release: Mid-Summer Edition

School’s out, ice lollies are melting faster than we can eat them, and while you’re plotting your next sun-soaked escape, we’ve been busy topping up BridgeVMS with fresh features and fixes.

Whether you’re OOO in flip-flops or holding down the fort, here’s what’s new 👇

💬 What’s new?

• Bank/Internal Pool only job distribution:  New in the job wizard: a setting that lets you post to your bank/internal pool only (if you have bank setting activated), even if auto-distribution to agencies is switched on. This options gives you greater control over which audience received your job posting.  
• New reporting fields: Three fresh fields for your custom reports: candidate first name, middle initial, and surname. Now you can slice and dice your data with extra precision. These can be found in the candidate section of the report builder.
• Supplier submission limits: Limits now pull correctly from category settings. Plus, you can tweak them on the spot when distributing jobs and even bulk-edit after distribution via the Suppliers section on the job/order.
• Start/End date selection when booking and confirming a candidate: We’ve given the start/end date selector on the change status page a little summer upgrade. When booking or confirming a candidate, you can now set dates that stretch beyond the job’s start and end dates. Extra flexibility for placements, kind of like adding “just one more day” to your holiday.
• View candidate compliance from placement:  We’ve added a direct link from the placement to candidate compliance. No more clicking back and forth, just straight to what you need.
• Invoice grid view additions: We’ve added invoice date to both accounts payable and accounts receivable views making it easier for you to spot when an invoice in the list was created.
• New compliance rejection email notification: Agency users now get an email when a compliance document is rejected during validation. No more surprises later down the line.
• Employer profile settings re-ordered: The Employer settings menu is now in the logical order for setup. Think of it as tidying your desk before the new term starts.

🐞 Bug Fixes & Optimisations:

Like bug spray on a camping trip, here’s what we swatted:

• Job template data loader – Qualifications were sometimes ignored during upload. Now they load correctly every time.  
• Job/Order status incorrectly displayed – Some jobs/orders had their statuses showing incorrectly.       Now they load correctly every time.
• Job import data loader – When loading a DE placement via the job import data loader, the DE contract was failing to load for the candidate. The contract is now visible to the candidate every time.
• Candidate survey and multiple timesheet approvals – Surveys now only show for categories with that feature enabled (even when multi-approving).
• Category filter on reporting – Where a client report had a category filter, it was displaying all categories across the instance instead of those linked to that Employer. Only the relevant categories are now displayed in that filter option.
• Other smaller bug fixes – The kind that don’t make headlines but keep everything running smoother.

That’s it for now. We’ve got more compliance upgrades on the way, plus something bigger and bolder warming up in the background.
