Bridge VMS Product Updates - June 30, 2025

☀️ BridgeVMS Release: Heatwave Edition

Temps are high, but your workflow’s about to get cooler. While the UK and parts of the US are melting into pavements, we’ve been sweating the small stuff to bring you a hot new release.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s included 👇

💬 What’s new?

• Job wizard just got smoother:  We’ve turned down the friction when creating jobs.  Now, job title is the first field on the wizard and if there’s a unique match, category settings auto-fill like magic.  Got multiple templates with the same title? No problem.  You’ll now see category names in the dropdown so you pick the right one, stress-free. 
• Placement history, now with extra context: Placement cancellation reasons are now included in the history timeline.  Because when things change, it's good to know why
• Optional candidate surveys on timesheet approval: Don’t want surveys popping up every time a timesheet gets approved? You can now disable this. Head to Category Settings > Timesheet Tab, and uncheck “Complete candidate survey when approving timesheets.”   Voilà, survey-free approvals.
• SSO now applicable to notification links: For employers with Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled will now be re-directed through SSO when clicking notification links.  No detours!
• Data loader improvements (your summer tune-up):  We’ve spritzed our data loaders with some performance spray. Here’s what’s new:
  • Job templates data loader – UK users can now configure IR35 settings directly in the loader.
  • Candidate data loader – We’ve added some missing bits. “N/A” is now available under “Title” and “CIS Employment is now an option under “Employment Type”.

🐞 Bug Fixes & Optimisations:

Think of these as bug spray for your workflows.  Now fewer bites and more breeze.  Here's what we fixed:

• Dashboard widget filters – Search filters were not working in the “placement date changes pending approval” and “candidates with documents expired / that will expire soon” dashboard widgets.  This is now fully functional.
• Placements visibility for Employer users – Placements in “Active Pending Compliance” now show up in “Placements starting/ending in the next 7/30 days” dashboard widget.  No more invisible starts.
• Auto outsourcing for bank – Bank settings weren’t playing nicely with the outsourcing clock.  That’s fixed and agencies now get visibility of the jobs in the allotted timeframe as expected.
• Missing timesheets – Some placements weren’t getting timesheets.  We found the sunblock that was clogging the system.   It’s fixed.
• Other smaller bug fixes – Small but mighty.  Your experience is just that bit smoother now.
